Windows 10: Create shortcut

Dell Inspiron 15 3505 laptop with WIndows 10 Build 19042.685

Today I have added Foobar2000, via Microsoft Store, to the laptop.


I am having difficulty finding how to create a shortcut on for Foobar2000. I cannot find the exe either; I would use this to create a shortcut if found. Similar software e.g. DBPowerAmp has its exe in:-

C:\Program Files\dBpoweramp\dBConfig.exe

But neither Program Files nor Program Filesx86 contain foobar2000.exe; I also loaded another app earlier today and hit the same problem.

Has Microsoft changed locations of exe files?

• Open a webpage in Microsoft Edge.
• Click the three dots at top right corner.
• Choose Open with Internet Explorer.
• Right Click and click on create shortcut.
• The shortcut shall open in Microsoft Edge, if it is your default browser.

Create Ethernet adapter shortcut on the desktop.

To create the Ethernet shortcut on your desktop, you can follow the step provided below.



Step: Create Ethernet shortcut on the desktop.

1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together.
   
2. Type in ncpa.cpl
   and hit enter.
   
3. You will see all your network adapter.
   
4. Right click on your desired adapter and click on
   Create Shortcut and allow the prompt.
   
5. Or you can drag and drop the network adapter on the desktop that will create a shortcut too.
   
6. You can now right on the shortcut on your desktop and disable and enable internet connection.
