Windows 10: Create tasks to run for all users

    I want to use Task Schedule to run an app at log-on for all users on my PC using admin rights.How can I do that? I tried to choose to start at log-on for any user in the tab Triggers but the task only runs on my admin account. When I log out and log in to my user accounts it doesn't work.Here is my configuration:In the other users, the program only runs in the background but nothing happens like the image below.I also tried to use Cmd to create task: schtasks /Create /RU SYSTEM /SC ONLOGON /TN HIHI_TASK /RL HIGHEST /F /TR D:\hihi.exe /ITBut it's even worse than before. It didn't run though I

    Window's Task Scheduler Not Running

    Hi,

    To assist you better, kindly provide us more details by answering the following questions:

    • Have you tried recreating the task? If so, are you getting the same issue?
    • Have you tried creating a new task?
    Meanwhile, we suggest that you ensure that the Task Scheduler is running. You can verify if the service is running by following these steps:

    • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
    • Type services.msc and hit Enter.
    • Under Services (Local), make sure that the Task Scheduler service's status is
      Started or Enabled.

    task viewer icon(virtual desktop)

    I have the same problem. The task viewer icon was there but is now gone. I have gone through the steps you listed but no viewer. Then I created a new profile and the task viewer is there. Now, how do I get the task viewer back in my taskbar in my
    original profile??

    Hi Terry,

    Are you facing any other issues with the start menu or the action center?

    I would suggest you to try these steps and check if that fixes the issue:

    • Open an Administrator CMD window. If you can’t find a way, use these steps:
    • Press CTRL+Shift+ESC to open Task Manager.
    • Click File > Run New Task
    • Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
    • Type CMD
    • Type the following commands at the CMD prompt:

      dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

      sfc /scannnow
    If the above steps didn't help, then try creating a new user profile and check if the same behavior is noticed. This will help us determine if this issue is confined to your user profile. Try these steps and let us know the results.
