For once I'm pleased to know there will be a few weeks break before next build. Gives more time to sort this Sysprep issue*out, find a solution.

Have tried, traditional methods do not work. I keep testing.

I noticed that those long DISM and OSCDIMG commands are quite difficult to copy from CODE boxes. Thanks for reminding me of this, I'll add the commands below the CODE boxes to a QUOTE box for easier copy & paste *Smile

    Hi,

Indeed it is. The slider isn't tracking the mouse cursor.

    Anyone else using VDISM ?
DISMGUI isn't working with 14393 yet.

Testing my OEM Recovery DVD tomorrow night. I think I have it figured out. *Biggrin

You need to start marking from beginning of the command, then keep moving pointer right way over the CODE box border, to the right edge of display to get full command line marked.

Anyway, I changed steps 4.4 (DISM command) and 5.5 (OSCDIMG command) adding commands to a QUOTE box. Should be easier now:

Please let us know how it goes, at least I am very interested to hear your results.

Might knock up a dismgui that runs in pe for you.

For making iso, an easy way is to use an isohandler to replace install.wim in an existing iso sources folder.

If you don't have one, gburner works fine from pe.

@SIW2, I can't run these. Download, extract, run, nothing happens.

I finally had to go to Task Manager and End Task.

@Kari , I got the chance to go back and finish where I left off the other day and tried to make an ISO out of the install.wim file I created. The ISO creation was fine but I noticed that the ISO file size is only around 500MB. So I checked the install.wim file and the file size is 0 kb. Haha...
That is probably why it only took 10mins to finish the install.wim creation.

Will try again when I got a chance and make sure to take note of the warnings you posted. I think I will go with "no user account" because I have 2 copies of Windows 10 on this machine.

Sadly, as told for instance in this post, in build 14986 only the method with user account(s) as told in Part Two is working until a solution is found to the Sysprep issue caused by the new Holographic Viewer app.
