Windows 10: Created local user, now Windows automatically logs into this user, but does not reach...

Hello, I created a local user on a samsung computer and now the computer won't log in properly onto this user. We have attempted to get to the startup repair guide but it seems not to reach the options. This is an old computer of 9 years and was functioning slow, but well, on the administrator user, but now it automatically logs into the local user when turned on and is stuck on the log-in page for a while before the screen turns black, still on, but does not go to desktop. Should we just be patient and wait? Or is only option to restore it to factory mode through F4? Kind regards.

• What was the result of SFC scan? Did it find corruption or not?

Try to create new user profile as an administrator and see if issue persists in new user profile. For creating new user profile you may refer to the steps provided below.

  Press Windows key + R
  
• 
  Type control userpasswords2 and click OK
  
• 
  Click on add under users tab
  
• 
  Click the option, "Sign-in without a Microsoft account
  
• 
  Click on Local account
  
• 
  Choose a name for the account

  Add password if you want to

Windows users can't log in

Yes, the credentials are supposed to be cached on the local computer so the user can still log on if the Domain Controller can't be reached. However, it doesn't always work.

 

Creating more than one local user account

  Are you trying to create a Microsoft account or local account?

As per your query, I suggest you enable the build in administrator account, change the exiting account as administrator and then try creating a new user account.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Enable Build in administration account.

1) Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.

2) Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open Command Prompt.

3) Type the following command and hit Enter:

net user administrator /active: yes (Check for the spaces)

4) Now log off from the current user.

Step 2: Log in to your computer, through Build in Administrator account.

1) Press Windows + r and type netplwiz, press Enter.

2) Select your existing user account.

3) Click on Properties button.

4) Click on Group Membership tab and check on
Administrator.

Step 3: Log out from Build in Administrator account, login to your existing user and then try creating a new user account.
