    Dear

I have been using Windows 7 images (imagex) for a while now and went smooth. This implied:
    1. Adjusting in the registry the settings (location) for the users folder
    2. The libraries Documents and Pictures also do D drive where the C is my OS drive.

How can I have these same settings applied to my Windows 10 image including the updates.

    :)

Windows 10 File Explorer search options

Still can't find setting were search criteria only returns were file names that match criteria - not files whos content match the criteria. See attached pic where search criteria was VA and got a hit for file name "cont13.htm" .

  3. How to create Recovery disk for windows 10

I gave you links for how to do the
    recovery drive
(you call it disk) already. (Link given in the original response - did you miss it?) I don't believe you understand its
functionality for you'd have to create a System Image and then use the recovery drive you made to boot and restore said image on a new drive... It's not a one-stop does everything. ;-)

    If you plan on re-installing,
making the Windows 10 ISO/USB stick
and cleanly installing works given your criteria as well. (Link given in the original response - did you miss it?)

    As for resizing - sure:

Wrong! Documents and Pictures folders are in Users\YourUsername folder, they would also be relocated.

The Sysprep method told in linked tutorial relocates the main profile folder Users to another drive. All user profiles will then be created in this new location. It completely separates user data and OS to separate partitions. All profile folders for any user accounts created after the process will be automatically created in this new location.

In my case for instance, I have Users folder located on secondary disk, E: partition, my profile folder being E:\Users\. Everything, absolutely completely everything belonging to my user profile will automatically be saved on this location. My AppData\Roaming folder is E:\Users\\AppData\Roaming, my Pictures folder E:\Users\\Pictures, OneDrive is at E:\Users\\OneDrive, Temp folder is in E:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp, and so on.

Everything, documents, music, videos, pictures, application data. temporary files, OneDrive, everything is on E: drive.

My OS system drive C: does not have any traces about user profiles, no documents, pictures, videos, no personal data at all. The complete Users folder is missing. Because of this, absolutely no user data will be stored / written to C: drive:

I assumed the OP meant were links in "Libraries" & "Quick Access" updated automatically also as these tend to be less reliable than the locations. I can't remember to be honest although it always worked for me in the past.

If should be easy enough to check - see if there is "C:\Users\Kari" in the registry anywhere interesting ...

I don't know what in my last post was so difficult to understand? I repeat: no user profiles, profile folders nor user data on C: drive, folder C:\Users does not exist.
