Windows 10: creating temporary files problem + warning 1909 when installing autodesk revit 2018

I have been trying for 3 days & I have a deadline date in 6 hours to install autodesk revit 2018 educational liscensed but always installation failed .., while installing give me first an error of creating temporary file needed to complete the destination ... I tried disk clean up & firewall turning off but secure boot on .... another message of warning 1909 cannont create shortcut & verify destination folder exists & doesnot give the address of it ..

PS ... I have just updated windows 10

I am having problems uploading the autodesk revit program into my laptop. it is a new HP that should handle this program but it is having a difficult time installing. suggestions?

Which version is it? Have you checked AutoDesk to find out if the version you have is compatible with Windows 10?

Display Error while running Autodesk Revit 2018

The solution on the AutoDesk website is:

In Revit Options, under Graphics Tab, uncheck the "Use Hardware Acceleration"

If the above does not solve this issue for you, your best option is to post your question to the AutoDesk - Revit forum, there does seem to be a lot of users of Revit getting this error!
