    Crit process died. Bsod


    Bsod. Critical process died. Cannot repair or reinstall. Also ms asks for pw. I used the recovery form on Android and got email changed. But when I enter on bsod it says incorrect

    This is a Windows 10 laptop now,

    That model to be specific.

    About 1 month back, it had gotten BSOD - Crit process died, So I've tried things like sfc scans, hard drive formarts, sfc scans, memtest.. etc etc.

    But NOTHING, I literally mean Nothing has worked. I went out of the way to purhcase a new hard drive,

    Right, So I thought that would fix the issue but nope.. The story continues, The laptop still refuses and sometimes boots into bios and sometimes boots normally and then crashes. However, I did notice one odd thing during Windows 10 installation.. The HDD
    is sometimes recognized and sometimes not.

    So, Could anyone try helping...

    The blue screen error with a stop code 'Critical Process Died' that you encountered can be caused by a recent update, device drivers that got corrupted or system files that got corrupted. For us to resolve your concern, kindly answer the questions below:

    • What changes were made or what updates were installed prior to the issue occurring?
    • Did you mean to say that you ran your device in safe mode when you said that you booted the device with only Microsoft Processes running?
    • Which version and build of Windows 10 is installed on your device?

    As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you follow the steps on this
    link     to run the driver verifier. Driver verifier is an inbuilt tool in the Windows operating system, which helps you to test the drivers which may be corrupted. These corrupted drivers may contribute as to why you're getting a "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD)
