Windows 10: Critical Error Kernerl ID 41

Hi all,


i have some problems.. today windows has installed many win updates:






and today i cant use my pc because it crashes and restarts.

From Events Log i have this critical error :





I have already tried to repair windows from windows repair menu, mainteining my files, but problem still exists less frequency.


I downloading win10 to try do a clean reinstall of o.s.

But i dont think is the solution.


Please Help Me!!


PS. i dont found dump file, its strange, now i ve changed location to store dump and when crash happens if i have dump i ll update discussione with dump file.

Critical Error Kernerl ID 41

Hi Marco,

Kernel-Power 41 (63) error mostly means the problem with power supplying. Can you replace power supply unit. for checking? It may mean problems with power management in BIOS or motherboard too.

And carefully look at motherboard and PSU for leaked or swelled up capacitors (little barrels).

Thankyou very much for your reply. In relation to your first post, I have carried out steps 10-22 (apart from step 15, I will attempt to leave it running with this tonight). The screenshots are attached. I have also uninstalled the programmes detailed above. Unfortunately, as my laptop is a custom built from PCSpecialist, they do not provide BIOS updates anywhere easily accessible. I will phoen them today and see if there are any updates.

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
   
2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
   
3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?
   

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows
and check if that helps.
