Windows 10: critical error when trying to use windows icon to open programs or shut of pc I have to...

When try ing to log off and turn off my pc i get a critical error message and have to use the tab it displays before i can turn off my pC. I can not open the Windows icon. I cant acres any settings it blocks all any my computer files or files to back step it to fix what ever is happening.

Computer in sleep mode shuts down open programs

When your computer is in hibernate mode, does all your programs have been shut off or closed? May we know what's the specific program that you use? Let's try to reset Power schemes. Please follow the steps below:

• Right on Start button, > select Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• Copy and paste the command below:
  

powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

• When finished, close the command prompt then reboot your PC.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

I would suggest you to follow the steps:

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
  
• Click File > Run New Task.
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”.
• Type CMD.
• Type the following commands at the CMD prompt:
  
  powershell
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  
• Close the CMD window.
• Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.
