Windows 10: Critical Kernel Power crashes

Hi

I am having regular restarts when the system is under load all temps seem ok etc

I have attached a screen shot of event viewer and my zip info as requested.

Please help its driving me nuts

I still suggest you download Speccy and upload a copy of the report it produces to OneDrive. To obtain a report select File,
Save as Text file. It helps to obtain the report at a time when the system is under pressure and temperatures may be higher than normal

Kernel Power System Error - NEED HELP!

Is there a reason for not installing the Anniversary Update?



Your Event Viewer System log only shows
one blue screen error since 8 August. All the other crashes are unexpected (Event 41 errors) shutdowns or system failures.

What's the age and the exact model of your PSU? Could you try another one? There are no BSODs in the attached zip. This leads me to believe that this might be a problem with your PSU.

 

Hi thanks for your reply it's an ICUTE 1000w AP1000AS.

Its about 18 months old I don't have another good enough to swap out, do you think its worth buying a decent brand and replacing ?

 

Just to finish this off installed a 1300 better quality psu yesterday no crashes and running smoothly *Smile

That's great news, and a beastly PSU I might add. I have a GTX 980 Ti an i7 and a Corsair GS700 PSU running for 44 months without problems for now *Smile
