Windows 10: Critical Low Battery on Boot up

Whenever I turn on my Haier y11c laptop it shows "Critical Low Battery" and turns off. But when I plug-in AC power it turns on just fine but the battery is stuck at 95% and stays at 95% no matter I keep power plugged in or remove it.


If I remove the AC power after turning the laptop on, it runs for a good amount of time approximately 2 to 4 hours and then it shuts down. Is this a window fault or a hardware issue?

We suggest that you check if the low battery notification is turned
on. Kindly follow these steps:

• On the search box, type Power Options to see the laptop's power plans.
• Click on Change Plan Settings.
• Click on the Change Advanced Power Settings.
• Scroll down and look for Battery.
• Expand it see Low battery notification, turn it on for both
  On battery and Plugged in.
