Windows 10: Critical Process Died” Error in Windows 10

After the last update at the end of May 2018 I can't get my laptop (Asus) to work properly anymore. Due to having been on a holiday I didn't really need it urgently, but now I really do though.

I can start windows and get through the sign-in screen, but it crashes pretty much right after into the "Critical Process Died” Error in Windows 10" results right after.

I've tried everything that I knew and could find online. and tried every option available on this link for example:

I've tried startup repair, system restore, system image recovery and go back to the previous version. Unfortunately with no results thus far except for getting this notification at some point: Pc won’t start properly. Error code:d0000452

All my work is stored on this laptop so I could really use some help.

Critical Process Died on windows 10 setup

Ive just opened event viewer as you suggested but I cant seem to find any error that says "critical process died"



I have attached a screenshot of the event viewer. I have scrolled to the bottom to where it first booted up.

Ive downloaded the software you sent the link for but I'm not sure how to use it as nothing shows up when I load it.
