Windows 10: Critical process died!! What caused the stop screen?

Stop Code: Critical Process Died

Hello

My new surface has been shutting down on it's own at least 5 times a week with a blue screen and saying "Stop Code: Critical Process Died". Can someone please advise what is causing this and how to fix it?

critical process died

I have tried all that was suggested and still can't get my computer to start in windows. I still keep getting "critical process died" and "stop code" and nothing has worked.
