Windows 10: Critical Process Error on Laptop, unable to do anything, how to fix?

I had discovered on my HP laptop that Microsoft Edge had an extension I didn’t authorize, it was the Cumulonimbus spyware extension or something along the lines of that name. I researched and realized I needed to delete my registry keys for Edge: did that, restarted computer, and absolutely nothing worked to removal of it. Then I tried deleting all registry keys for the Microsoft folder. I thought to myself, “this isn’t gonna mess up my computer, all the important stuff is in Windows or system files, not these keys”, but now my computer is in an endless purgatory of blue screening critical pr

The Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error occurs due to the program that uses multiple processes to interact with your processor. If the processor is unable to process these multiple processes properly, it generates the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error.
Sometimes this error can be quite critical as it could damage your hard disk, memory or in rare circumstances, your processor.

Let us try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Power Drain.

• Shut down the laptop by power the system off.
• Take out the battery from the laptop and disconnect the charger.
• Press the power button on your laptop while it’s disconnected from any power source.
• This will drain existing power from laptop.
• Put the battery in and restart the laptop.
• Login to safe mode if it gives you multiple prompts otherwise login to normal mode.
• Once you are able to login restart the computer using restart option from windows.

Step 2: Let us try to repair the Windows using the ISO file.

Once your media is ready follow the steps.

• Insert media (DVD or USB drive).
• Click on Troubleshoot.
• Click on Advanced options.
• Click on Startup repair.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Recently I tried to update build 17686. But, unable to do so. while I restart my laptop it shows critical process died, stopcode error

To find out what version of Windows you are running:

• Press the Windows Key + R.
• A box will pop up in the bottom left side of the screen. Type winver
  and then press Enter.
• Another box will open that will tell you what version of Windows you're running and what the build is. Please post both the version number and the build number.

• What are the troubleshooting steps you've done so far?
