Windows 10: Critical Structure Corruption

Discus and support Critical Structure Corruption in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Not sure what the deal is. I've removed a bunch of things, updated fully, ran sfc /scannow, dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth and dism.exe...     Critical Structure Corruption


    Not sure what the deal is. I've removed a bunch of things, updated fully, ran sfc /scannow, dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth and dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. I also defragged disks and checked there health, as well as run memtest twice. Everything comes back clean.

    Critical Structure Corruption

    Hello and welcome to TenForums *Smile

    This type of error can be caused by memory problems and I notice that you have 4 sticks of RAM of which one is a different make. It is not a good idea to mix memory types and so I would try running with the Hyundai RAM removed, you will need to refer to your product manual to check the best slot configuration for the remaining three sticks, it will usually be slots 1,2 & 4 so you may need to rearrange them.

    Losing memory would make me sad. I'm confused as to why this would happen in Windows 10 but not windows 7. As you can probably tell I use this install very rarely and don't have any issues running other os's. I will try running the 3 sticks (or maybe just two) and see if it still happens. Do you think a reinstall would change anything?

    Let's see if the memory is the reason for the BSOD before we speculate any further, we are simply diagnosing and testing at the moment.
