Windows 10: Critical_Process_Died blue screen even after factory resetting Windows 10

I have windows 10 home. I have been facing this issue for over two months now. Blue screen with critical_process_died started showing again and on my laptop. I reset my pc but kept the files. It was still slow. The boot process especially slow and the random crashing and blue screen didn't stop. I updated it at every occasion but to no avail. I tried sfs/scannow and restore health but it didn't help the cause. I was fed up, as i couldn't do any work on it without it randomly crashing or hanging. There were sometimes two screens Critical_process_died and Store_Exception_error. Yesterday i completely reset my pc to factory settings and cleared all the data and disks. It did show some good signs but after updating Windows today. It still showed a blue screen with Critical_Process_died and slow boot process.

Im trying to factory reset on my Dell XPS 13 however everytime I choose any option in the 'Reset My PC' menu, it loads, restarts my laptop and then crashes with the blue screen containing error code: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.

How do I resolve this? I've owned my XPS for 3 years and there have been no problems with SSD corruption or any hardware failures so I'm assuming is a Windows 10 (my current OS) problem. I've tried researching a solution however they're mainly just alternative was to factory reset to all of which have failed

Anyone know a solution?

 

Blue screen ntdll.sys CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

The CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug check has a value of 0x000000EF. This indicates that a critical system process died.
The ntoskrnl.exe may possibly occur due to the default value in the
Boot Loader section of the Boot.ini file which is missing or invalid. BSOD errors occur mostly due to incompatible, faulty or corrupted device drivers installed on the computer. To better assist you, I'd like to know any changes
you've made. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
