Windows 10: Critical_Process_Died loop, nothing works :/

idk if this helps, but I'm on a self-built system.

So last night I was using my computer fairly normal. I was chatting on discord, playing GTA online, and my friends wanted me to change our clubs picture. I opened chrome to do so and my game started to lag and break, so I closed both chrome and GTA. GTA didn't want to close however, and according to steam it didn't. So I went into task manager to close it manually, and that's when shit hit the fan.

It wouldn't close, at least not really. I would close all the rockstar processes and even steam processes but nothing worked. My computer started to slow down a lot. I decided the only thing to do was hard restart, so I turned my computer off and back on. Booting back on took a lot longer than usual. When it finally did boot to windows, the actual login screen took about 5 minutes to register. After logging in, my desktop took over 30 minutes to fully display, and when it did no application worked. I decided to hard restart again hoping that it would fix the problem.

After this reset, it booted into the Critical_Process_Died blue screen. Auto repair failed, and having blue screened before I turned my system off and tried to boot into safe mode. When I finally pulled up the option and selected safe mode, it booted me back into the blue screen of death.

Sorry for all the extra rambling, now to my main point: Nothing else is working. None of the troubleshooting options work, including rebooting my PC, restoring the system, or going to a previous version. The only 2 things I can do are open the Command Prompt and my Bios. I haven't recently updated Windows 10 so I know that isn't the problem, and I'd prefer any method that won't require me to wipe my nearly full 2TB data, but if I need to I will.

Any help is much appreciated

Small Update: My dad was a computer engineer and mentioned it sounding underpowered. I thought it sounded off too so I took it down and I'm going to work inside, see if there's something loose.

Critical_Process_Died BSOD

In order to resolve your concern, we suggest that you to follow these steps:

• If you've installed any new apps or devices, uninstall or unplug them and restart your PC.
• Make sure your PC has the latest updates:

• Go to the search box.
• Type Windows Update then Enter.
• Select Check for updates.
• In the Settings menu, select Check for updates button.
• When it's finished, restart your PC.

Critical_process_died keeps looping, safe mode not working

My laptop recently automatically installed an windows 10 update. Update seemed to go fine. However when it restarted, the laptop just loops the startup load and the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I've already tried to enter safemode but I can't with the f8 method.
I don't have a windows 10 disk as the laptop just came preloaded with it. And windows Automatic Repair won't load. Any help would Ben appreaciated

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
