Windows 10: Critical_Process_Died

My PC constantly bluescreens when I load up a game. Sometimes the crash happens straight away, other times it can happen 5 mins into the game. The bluescreeen error code is Critical_Process_Died. In the windows event viewer the error code is Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation. I have no idea what to do, I have got a new GPU, CPU, CPU cooler, new ram, new NVME SSD and a new case and the error still happens. This error happened awhile ago but somehow managed to fix it, not sure how and the errors are now back. Please help.

In order to resolve your concern, we suggest that you to follow these steps:

• If you've installed any new apps or devices, uninstall or unplug them and restart your PC.
• Make sure your PC has the latest updates:

• Go to the search box.
• Type Windows Update then Enter.
• Select Check for updates.
• In the Settings menu, select Check for updates button.
• When it's finished, restart your PC.

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with Blue screen error on Windows 10. We will help you with this issue.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• Were you able to see any error code along with the error message?
• Have you made any hardware/ software changes to the device prior to this issue?
• Have you checked if the issue persists on Safe mode with networking as well?

The CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug check has a value of 0x000000EF. This indicates that a critical system process died.

Step 1: As you have performed SFC scan, found some corrupted and couldn't fix, try the below and check if it helps.

If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log
%WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”. Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

Step 2: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to perform DISM on your system to fix corrupted system files.

Step 3: I suggest you to install the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Critical_process_died at startup


Several times since Windows 10 has been updated (see attached file) I have received a "Critical_process_died" notification. Sometimes at startup & at least one time during normal browsing. Have talked with a local computer shop about various problems & he suggested a clean install. Attached is the dump file per your instructions.
