Windows 10: Cropping images in MS Paint stopped working

    Cropping images in MS Paint stopped working


    I use original MS Paint to crop images. But yesterday whenever I tried to crop an image what happened instead is that the image moved around. I hit the Crop button in the menu but the second I click the left button on my mouse to start cropping, the crop cursor is replaced by the cursor with four arrows and the image starts moving. I can get the cropping functionality back by switching from "Rectangle" to "Free Form" and back again in the image menu. It also works if I switch to a brush and back again. But this is a stupid workaround that should be unnecessary. Clearly something has changed in
