Windows 10: Cropping with Photos is mildly infuriating (Moves anchor while I grab another)

Windows 10 photo app crop settings

Hi

Something changed in the photo app that now has the anchors locked together when cropping. They cannot be moved independently any longer. Moving the right bottom anchor up, for example, also simultaneously moves the right side in. It shouldn't do that.
It didn't do that previously. Some setting is wrong and I cannot figure out how to fix it! I can't edit photos like this.

 

Crop phots

Select the photo, then click the Picture tools tab then click the crop button and use the anchors to resize the photos, then click Crop to confirm changes.

• To which program are you exactly using the crop tool? Photos App or Office 2016?
• You mentioned crop tool is not working properly when Photos App is used. Have you tried to close it, and check if the issue persists?
