Windows 10: Crossed out Icon in file folder

Discus and support Crossed out Icon in file folder in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Can anyone help on how to fix/ remove the Cross in my file Explorer ICONS .     Crossed out Icon in file folder


    Can anyone help on how to fix/ remove the Cross in my file Explorer ICONS . Now, I can't preview this files with the crosses .Is it due to use of DropBox version upgrade ?Previously I do not have this issue..;

    Files & Folders View as medium or large Icons

    To assist you better, we would suggest that you try to follow the steps below:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Once you are viewing a folder, right click an empty space within the File Explorer window and select View from the dialogue menu, then choose Large or any icon you wanted to use. Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut keys on the keyboard to
      change your View settings:
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 1 Extra Large
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 2 Large icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 3 Medium Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 4 Small Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 5 List
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 6 Details
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 7 Tiles
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 8 Content
    3. Once you have the view set, you can make it the default view for

    every folder.

    4. Click Apply, then click OK.

    Update us on the result.

    How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

    • Make a new folder.
    • Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
    • Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
    • Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin Crossed out Icon in file folder :D

    yeah but if you search within windows search can u still be able to find files you put in it like say porn or somthing like that. that you can hide from the g/f or wife lol
