    Crowd Strike recovery issues, I have a few laptops that do not have the "Startup Settings" option for use, I have tried a lot of the listed ways to get those options, but I have had no luck. I can select the command prompt and it does provide an x:\ but no access to the C:\ where the Crowd Strike folder will reside. I have tried to mount the drive in that setting and it will not list or see the local drives. so I wanted to see if anybody else has faced this issue and what their solution was.Windows 10 OSThank youWalter woodruff

  3. Deleting Temporary Files from Storage in Settings - Windows 10

    Hi Younes,

    Thank you for the update.

    I would suggest you to once boot in Safe Mode and then try deleting the temporary files. Refer to the following steps:

    Follow the steps given below to boot your system in Safe Mode.


    • Type settings in search and click on Settings.

    • Click Update and recovery, and then tap or
      click Recovery.

    • Under Advanced startup, tap or click Restart now.

    • Once your PC restarts, on the Choose an option screen, tap or click
      Troubleshoot.

    • If you don't see the Startup Settings option, tap or click
      advanced options.

    • Tap or click Startup Settings.

    • Tap or click Restart.

    • On the Startup Settings screen, choose the
      Safe Mode.

    • Sign in to your PC with a user account that has
      administrator rights.

    • Press Windows key + R.

    • Type %temp% in the dialog box and click
      OK.

    • Select and delete all the files in the Temp folder.

    • Check if you are able to delete all of them.

    It was very helpful for me. The problem is that we have not seen any solution from Microsoft yet. The problem comes back after a while. But the above solves it for me every time.

    As I understood it the solution above was a replay from Microsoft in Januray but we have not seen a fix for it yet, that is frustrating.
