Windows 10: Crucial 4TB m.2 NVMe drive not recognized by Windows 11, HP Slim Desktop running 12th gen...

Hello, Looking for some help on NVMe SSD. I have an HP Slim Desktop 12th Gen Intel CPU with 512GB m.2 primary/OS drive and 1TB secondary HDD. I am unable to add a 4TB Crucial m.2 NVMe via PCIe adapter Sabrent/EZDIY or using a USB adapter BBY Insignia brand on Windows 11 home edition. It shows up in the disk mgmt dashboard as unknown and when I try to initialize it, it fails to initialize it with an error msg to the effect of not being able to process the request. I have tried 3 brand new Crucial m.2 NVMe drives all 4TB and they all fail to work on the system. Any insights on how to res

NVMe M.2 SSD not showing in Windows 11 Storage Spaces

I just "rebuilt", upgraded, my computer. I also upgraded to Windows 11. Everything went well. I used a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe M.2 4.0 for the main drive and installed qty. 3 Crucial P3 1TB PCIe Gen3 on the remaining three available slots for storage.

I can see the three Crucial drives in BIOS, Disk Manager, windows folder, etc. I can access them in Windows, they operate as normal drives. When I go to Storage Spaces and try to create one, no drives show up. Not any of the NVMe M.2 drives or even a separate Samsung 980 1TB ssd connected to a SATA port.

What do I need to change for the drive to appear?

Windows is not recognizing an NVMe M.2 drive

Have Win 10Pro everything is fine except I can Not get a new NVMe M.2 to be recognized correctly by the OS it sees it as a SATA even though it is in a M.2 slot on Motherboard. I need more of an order of things to be done between the BIOS and Win 10. I
installed a Samsung 970 Pro 1 TB drive in a Z270X Gaming 7 MB and Win 10 has a problem and it sees it and formatted it as a Sata with only a little less than 500g of space???

 

Upgrade M.2 NVMe SSD

I have an HP EliteDesk G5 Mini PC. Drive C: is a 256GB M.2 WD Black SN720 NVMe SSD and the Data Drive D: is a 1TB M.2 WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD. I am running Windows 10 PRO, Core I5 9th Gen with 32GB RAM.
What I would like to do is replace the boot drive C: with a 1TB M.2 WD Black SN750 NvMe SSD. I do not want to remove the D: data drive.

What would be the easiest way to do this upgrade?
