Windows 10: CSM and Bluetooth 5.2 issues

So after a weeks worth of dire Bluetooth 5.2 experiences on all 7 of my AMD Ryzen 3800X/5950/Threadripper workstations with Intel AX210 WiFi 6E hardware I started to realize this was not a driver issue at all.Something more base that the troubleshooters fail to look at was the culprit here and that was CSM support in the BIOS having to be disabled.If you do not do this your Bluetooth 5.2 device will "freeze" for 5 minutes or longer.I tried all manner of Intel drivers and Microsoft Bluetooth troubleshooters before realizing the issue was with the BIOS on both Intel and AMD systems.So before you

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

In that case I suggest you uninstall the Bluetooth device by follow the below steps.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Device Manager then click to open it.

Step 2:

Under Device Manager expand Bluetooth

Step 3:

Right-click on Bluetooth listed device and select Properties

Step 4:

Select the Drivers tab

Step 5:

Click on Uninstall Device

Step 6:

Restart PC and verify

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

Hi,

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
