    csrss.exe using all 100% GPU while closing apps


    I am on Windows 10 21H2, Build 19044.1766. When I close apps like Microsoft Edge, the process csrss.exe uses all 100% GPU, for mere a second. Not CPU, it's GPU. I got this problem for about 3 months already.Since I've been interested with Windows, beginning 2019, I know what does csrss.exe do. It's used to display all the program windows, on Windows NT 4.0 it was the entire GUI. I don't that much know what it exactly does.I tried terminating it on a Virtual Machine first, to see if I can normally just end it and continue working. On a regular Task Manager, it gives me an error "Access is deni

    Dwm and csrss using my gpu

    Hey so the dwm and csrss using my gpu while im moving window folder(dwm) and while im moving cursor (csrss) and each of them can use 10% or higher

    And when im in csgo there is 10% of use of it (dwm) and 20% for.csgo im wondering if its okey or not

    CSRSS Using 100% GPU Freezing PC

    Over the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing either severe lagging or complete freezing of my pc. In task manager the culprit seems to be Client Server Runtime Process (gpu 0 - 3d), which is located in the Windows 32 folder as CSRSS, using upto 100% of the gpu. This seems to happen randomly, even when the pc is idle.

    When I use the mouse wheel for scrolling on a website, then the Client Server Runtime process immediately uses the gpu at between 30% and 40%. I turned of hardware acceleration in Firefox, but this doesn't seem to have made a difference. Anyway, the pc will sometimes freeze without a browser open.

    I am also sometimes get 100% CPU from System Interrupts.

    During this time there have been updates from Windows and Nvidia (GeForce GTX950).
