Windows 10: Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't reboot my pc, up-to-date Windows 11

Discus and support Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't reboot my pc, up-to-date Windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have Windows 11, Legacy BIOS.     Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't reboot my pc, up-to-date Windows 11


    I have Windows 11, Legacy BIOS. I almost never have to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot but every once in a while it would come in handy but it doesn't do anything when I hit the 3 keys. I wind up having to press my computer's On button which shuts off my computer, then I have to start it again. I don't have an Fn button on my keyboard. How can I get Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot my computer?Denise

    On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't reboot my pc, up-to-date Windows 11 ;)

    Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.

    Depends on whether you have the Welcome Screen, or the Domain Logon screen at boot up.
