Windows 10: Ctrl+alt+del settings changed?

    Today I went to use my laptop and when I was finished I went to shut down my laptop. Well for some reason when I clicked ctrl alt del, the only option that it was giving me was to lock my computer and nothing else, no sign out or shut down. I didn't alter any settings and didn't download anything that I can think of? Also adding on, in my start menu when I click on the power button, it says there are no power options available? I don't know much about the really technical stuff so I'm scared to mess with registry like most of your internet tells me unless someone can explain it to me for sure and I'm confident it won't screw anything up. I also run a diagnostic on the computer when following internet recommendations and it said there are hanging and crashing apps? Is this all connected and what do I do cause it is bugging me and came out of nowhere. I have no way to shut down except literally holding down my power button at the moment...

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

    The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.

    On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Ctrl+alt+del settings changed? ;)

    Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    Depends on whether you have the Welcome Screen, or the Domain Logon screen at boot up.
