Windows 10: Ctrl + Alt + Del Shows only cancel button

Discus and support Ctrl + Alt + Del Shows only cancel button in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Hi, After logging into the system, hitting Ctrl Alt Del shows only 'Cancel' button.     Ctrl + Alt + Del Shows only cancel button


    Hi,


    After logging into the system, hitting Ctrl Alt Del shows only 'Cancel' button. Task Manager, Change Password, etc. options are missing. Moreover, I am unable to lock computer. Nothing happens, when window key + L is hit. Opening up task manager directly, shows error Task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator. I have checked all regEdit settings. I do not have Disable Task manager entry. This has happened after recent upgrade of windows. I am not sure of the exact version, but I am part of Windows Insider program.

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

    The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.

    On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Ctrl + Alt + Del Shows only cancel button ;)

    Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    I can't add the CTRL-ALT-DEL screenshot unfortunately, but there is ONLY the Cancel button and the Ease Of Access in the right-hand bottom of the screen!
