Windows 10: CTRL+F not detecting a word in Notepad

Discus and support CTRL+F not detecting a word in Notepad in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I was trying to use CTRL+F to find a few words in a text file on Notepad, but even though I had clearly typed a word, Notepad for some reason would not...     CTRL+F not detecting a word in Notepad


    I was trying to use CTRL+F to find a few words in a text file on Notepad, but even though I had clearly typed a word, Notepad for some reason would not detect it. I am also on Windows 11.System Information:Edition Windows 11 Home Single Language Version 21H2 Installed on ‎9/‎9/‎2021 OS build 22000.1165 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.1165.0 Can someone please help me fix this?Thanks!

    CTRL+F not detecting a word in Notepad

    Hi TheSciencEye,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The Search function is Notepad is very directional, if the cursor is past the word it will not find it, if you search for test, and it is not found, if you click the up arrow and search again, is it found?
