Windows 10: Ctrl + shift + numbers don't work. [Win 11]

Clean windows 11 install. Ctrl + Shift + 2 doesn't work in File explorer to change icons into large icons. Have to click physically everytime at the right bottom to change into large icons.Ctrl + Shift + Other numbers don't work either. The Ctrl, shift and number keys all work individually. And other combinations like Ctrl + shift + esc work fine.Tried restart, shutdown, restore point, uninstalling drivers, installed oem drivers, windows updated, among other things. Also removed Ctrl + shift from the keyboard switching layout settings. That is not an issue.Any help is appreciated. Can't re-ins

Shift+Ctrl Not Working WIN 11

Laptop Model: Asus TUF F15 FX507ZR

Start using Windows 11 in this new laptop, but the Shift + Ctrl shortcut is not working at all.

Looked through the community and the web for answers, but nothing solid. I do found some members who have the same problem, who so happens to use an Asus laptop. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com...m/ctrl-shift-not-working-together/m-p/2715438

I suspect there might be a setting that prevent this 2 keys to be active at the same time, but i just couldn't find the source.

 

CTRL+SHIFT keyboard combos not working

I've been using Windows 10 at home for a couple years. I use numerous keyboard combinations that involve CTRL+SHIFT. For example:

• CTRL+SHIFT+V to paste text without formatting
  
• CTRL+SHIFT+T to reopen a closed tab in Google Chrome
  
• CTRL+SHIFT+E to export photos in Adobe Lightroom
  

And so on.

My problem is that all CTRL+SHIFT keyboard combos stopped working. I don't know how or why! Suddenly one day they didn't work any more. Whenever I press CTRL and SHIFT at the same time, I get a beep, and the desired combinations don't do anything at all. This problem persisted for more than six months. I tried everything I could think of, researched many forums and message boards. Nothing worked! I gave up and learned to live without it, though I was quite frustrated.

Two weeks ago I noticed the functionality had returned. CTRL+SHIFT keyboard combos worked again! No more beeps! What changed? I don't know. I enjoyed using these shortcuts again, until about an hour ago when they stopped working again and the beeps returned.

And here's the kicker: midway through drafting this post, the problem once again went away. CTRL+SHIFT is working again. Hooray. But for how long?

I strongly suspect that I'm inadvertently turning some setting on and off. Can somebody please tell me what or how? This is kind of driving me crazy, and I don't want to be at the mercy of my own stupidity any longer. I can't be the only person having this problem, can I?

 

Ctrl Shift Win Alt keys not working

Hi,

Just as the title suggests my shift, ctrl, win alt keys are not working. I have tried turning off sticky keys and other solutions online but the issue remains the same. This is the second time it happened, the first time was resolved when I had a BIOS firmware update but now this also didn't work.
