Windows 10: CTRL + Spacebar putting my laptop to sleep

I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop equipped with Microsoft 10 that is having a weird issue that I can't seem to find in any other forums. My laptop is connected to two external monitors, and I work/type using an external keyboard via a Bluetooth receiver.Without fail, every time I press CTRL + Spacebar on my keyboard, my monitors flash black, and I end up at the screen where my computer is Sleeping, at which point I need to unlock again using my PIN. What is happening? What can I do to eliminate this from happening. The keys are not mapped to something else, because obviously when I use the CTR

Hi, you can disable hibernation if you wish:
Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 10

This depends what devices are able to wake your PC. You can list these:

Powercfg /devicequery /.......
Description:
Returns a list of devices that meet the specified criteria.

Parameter List:
<QUERYFLAG> Specifies one of the following criteria:

wake_from_S1_supported ....Return all devices that support waking the system
from a light sleep state.
wake_from_S2_supported ....Return all devices that support waking the system
from a deeper sleep state.
wake_from_S3_supported ....Return all devices that support waking the system
from the deepest sleep state.
wake_from_any ......................Return all devices that support waking the system
from any sleep state.
S1_supported List devices supporting light sleep.
S2_supported List devices supporting deeper sleep.
S3_supported List devices supporting deepest sleep.
S4_supported List devices supporting hibernation.
wake_programmable List devices that are user-configurable to wake
the system from a sleep state.
wake_armed List devices that are currently configured to
wake the system from any sleep state.
all_devices Return all devices present in the system.

Laptop restarts when I put it to 'sleep' mode

Hi All!

Just bought a brand new HP envy 15 (2020 edition). On the 2nd day it was updating windows and bios and then i noticed that my laptop restarts whenever i put it to sleep.

To be precise, this is what happens step by step:

1. I put the laptop to sleep

2. It goes to 'sleep'

3. 20 seconds in and it restarts or start from new.. all the apps that i left on when puting laptop to sleep are now gone..

Can anyone help?

laptop spacebar making 64 need help

my step son has a toshiba laptop. its not all that old. his keyboard started messing up. the spacebar when pressed in notpad/search etc it make the number 64. backspace gives a date stamp. the number 4 sometimes does 4 and sometimes does 64. im thinking he somehow pressed the wrong key and it inverted his keyboard somehow. but Me and laptops are like oil and water. help?
