Windows 10: Ctrl + V constantly pressed down, keyboard disconnected

Hey,I recently did a clean install of Windows on a new SSD. This fixed the bast majority of issues I was having with my computer, but the one issue that persisted is that my computer acts like ctrl + v are being held down when they aren’t. This happens frequently and usually stops after a while, but it’s a persistent issue.I tried some fixes from online, cleaned out the keyboard, sticky/filter keys on and off, updated the drivers etc. Then I realised this is still happening even if I unbind the ctrl and V keys through the keyboards companion software, and also if I unplug the keyboard entirely

So I am constantly pasting despite having no keyboard connected to my system, leading me to think the problem lies elsewhere. Couldn’t find someone with my exact situation online so not sure what to do.

 

CTRL+C or CTRL+V works only when both CTRL keys and C/V is pressed

Hi,

I accidently changed some settings for my CTRL keys on keyboard. Now, the common CTRL+C or CTRL+V are performed only when I press both CTRL keys +C or V.

Both CTRL keys are working fine. I pressed some combination of ALT, CTRL and FN keys.

Anyone knows the solution to go back to previous settings.

I just want to know how I can get Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v to work again.

Currently if I have multiple tabs in Edge, pressing Ctrl just switches to the next app.
