    After copying an image to the clipboard, Ctrl-V will not paste the image. The only way to get the image pasted is to right-click and select Paste. Ctrl-V paste works perfectly with copied text...just not images. Pasting images with Ctrl-V has worked for years on the computer in question, and continues to work on every other PC I've tested. This behavior started recently...perhaps three or four weeks ago.This behavior is not isolated to any particular application; Ctrl-V will not paste an image into any application on this PC. I am not using a 3rd-partry clipboard app. I am not using Wind

    Ctrl+V not pasting images/pictures in Windows 10

    After a recent Windows 10 update (KB5008212, KB4023057 and 21H2), I have been having difficulty pasting copied images or screenshots using Ctrl+V. I have to right-click and choose the 'picture paste' option instead to paste the image/picture. Is there a way to get Ctrl+V to paste images again?

    Got it, it's not a problem with your keyboard nor a problem with the system, it's certainly some setting related to your third party app, depending on the app, this copy and paste option with Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V is not allowed to images.

    Generic Text Getting Pasted when Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V

    This is been happening for a week now. When I do Ctrl+C once, it copies and pastes the above generic text but when I do Ctrl+C twice the text that I have selected gets copied and pasted. However, when I do Ctrl+V again the generic text reappears in the
    paste screen again.
