  4. Cumulate Update (KB3172985) Windows 10 version 1511 build 10586.494

Windows 10 IE11 Leave page popup

After the latest updates to Windows 10 (version 1511 (OS Build 10586.494)), Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985) and Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3173428), installed on 7/13/2016 many webpages
in IE11 are now popping up a window asking if "Do you want to leave this page" (or words to that effect).

This is happening on multiple PCs on my network so I'm sure its something that Microsoft did to IE11 during one of those latest updates (and a search of this website seems to indicate this isn't the first time this has happened). Does anyone know what changed
and what to do the correct this problem?

  6. Download speed is extremely slow. Appears that not all download servers are online. At this rate, will take hours instead of minutes.

  9. Look at Task Manager, Ethernet. Receive packets are in small bursts with very little content. Am also trying to download from the Update Catalog. It's just as slow.

Seemed like it downloaded for me but received error code 0x80073712. Ran the windows update troubleshooter and said it fixed some things but once again did not install due to error code.

  11. Download from update Catalog Failed. Windows update is stuck at 84%.
MS has server or line problems. Try again later.
Search Google, everyone is having the same problem.
No easy way to stop it from trying.

15 minutes ago I thought that my wife's computer was almost ready to reboot, but it's been stuck at 99% since then. She just had the standard 10 patches, then one additional (KB3115246) for Outlook 2010.

We have tried pinging Microsoft Windows Update website using our server and the website returned the above results. If update.microsoft.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress.
