    Cumulative update fails on Windows 10


    Hello,I am not a computer specialist but I am a statistician who is running Windows 10 Pro Edition which I last successfully updated with KB5005033 which is the August Cumulative update for Version 21H1. I am trying to install the latest update KB5005565 which is the 2021-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems, but I am getting a message indicating a failure. I have found the following in the CBS log: FileHashMismatch on resource '\winsxs\manifests\amd64_d4ccde12bac3e9ae9b13f4c24b7b6966_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.1220_none_7e8e188ab3514241.manifest'[gle=0x80

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

    V 10.0 build 10240

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
