    Greetings! I successfully updated 1909 to 20H2 and downloaded updates. But one particular update is causing me issues. The optional cumulative update for Windows 10 version 20H2 for x64 based systems. It stucks at installing at 20%. Even tried to restart the laptop but it gets stuck again at 20%. Is there anything I can do?

    Windows update version 20h2 is stuck at 20% installing

    I've tried to install this update on my laptop, but it's stuck at 20% installing. Any help?

    2020-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4580364) but wont install at restart, just keeps showing Windows requires restart to install. Also tried install and shutdown but still same issue.

    I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

    20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

    You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:
