Windows 10: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 KB3135173

After the update, I lost access to many folders on my data drive. Won't let me in to change permissions.?
"You don't currently have permission to access this folder" and
"You have been denied permission to access this folder"

Worked without issue before this latest update.

Didn't notice much difference if any. I just hope store app updates are more reliable from now on. But it seems a pretty good update so far

Installed here with no problems. Glad to see the website Microsoft put up is at least beginning to address all of our complaints about not getting any information about just what these updates do.

This is just a joke. I still have my own beta bug list I made from the beta from now over a year ago and none of those bugs, none, all Ive reported several times, are fixed to todays date.

 

just downloaded the update now, seems to be the fastest to download and install. computer seems faster too but maybe it is just perceived since it is a new update. hard to tell since installing the ssd drive on Friday night this laptop has been super fast, and in the reliability history have no red marks yet but only been running on the new ssd drive since Sunday.

Just updated 3 laptops ... coincidentally chrome had 1 update too ..
So it seems a bit faster ... dunno it's chrome or the wds update ...?

 

I ended up downloading the register fix by adding "take ownership to the context menu", selected the folder and took ownership. Now behaving as normal. Not sure why that got "wacked up" in this update??

 

Did you read the link what was put out with it.
It did improve for some members a few problem so your statement Nothing is not strictly true
Also it does seem faster

 

Installed with no issues on 2 PC's for me, so far...
