I still think the best method is waiting for WU to tell me its available, So I will wait. Reading some of that post also states this in its article.
"Of course, be aware that this is somewhat a risky operation. You probably know this already, but a cumulative update usually comes with bug fixes and improvements, and rarely brings new features"

Bug fixes can be more important than adding any new features. I would also venture a guess that if anyone hasn't had issues with any of the previous updates will not likely have any with this one.

That's fine with me Jeff, if you want to grab this manual update before its released thru WU . That is your choice of course.
My Windows is running just fine without it at present time. I can wait for it to be released the Correct Way myself. *Smile

I think the way it has gone in is better than through Windows Update
All systems I have installed it on is running good no side effects

Two weeks ago this same thing happened with KB3136562 which updated to 10586.79 and was never released to WU.
A week later KB3135173 was released to WU and updated to 10586.104.
This new one brings us to 10586.112 but I think I will wait for WU and see what I get.
Here is a list of the updates and the build version.

no more. if it ain't on the regular download wagon, then it gettin unloaded. ms can do their brain surgery on someone else.

Microsoft needs to fire their windows update team.Looks like there is zero coordination between the WU team, WD group in Microsoft.
