Windows 10: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Home Version 24H2 x64 KB5063060 keeps failing with error...

Hello, As described in the title, the current Windows 11 update keeps failing on my PC. It consistently fails at 7% during restart.Any ideas to fix this?

I'm trying to download and install this 2023-05 Cumulative Update KB5026372 For Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64- based systems (KB5026372)

and it keeps failing

gets to about 75% install then fails

install error code 0x80070002

can anyone suggest anything ??

I tried to update to 2023-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5029263) but it keeps failing with a error code 0x0070002

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)
