Windows 10: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 - Not installing

Split from this thread. Hi I have been trying to get the following to download/install and it has failed several times on 12/13/23, 12/15/23 & 12/18/23 and it keeps saying retry. That's what I have been trying to download/install and it's getting frustrating and need a reason why it's happening and why it won't download and upload???? Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
