There may be an issue with the system files of the computer that is why you cannot update the build of Windows 10. Just to clarify, have you checked if you can install other builds of Windows 10? Kindly check if you can manually install the KB4016871 (OS
Build 15063.296) update. You can download the build update here.

Is there any cumulative update coming for version 1607 build 14393.1066 ?
I did update my pc right now, seems like no CU for this month.

I just received the update - to 15063.296.

(later) My apologies. I didn't read all of Post #1. 15063.296 for PCs, .297 for mobile.

I would have used .296 in the title, due to my total lack of interest in Mobile.

 

I got this earlier this morning, fast and easy. No problems so far.

 

Seems you edited the post because I was just doing updates and hadn't seen a KB....472
and was about to ask if it was for the insiders build since I also noticed the article referenced a 1400 build, where non-insiders like me are on 1500.

Still no fix for DISM?

 

I did not get one.

 

I just got all the updates from wu.
I got KB4016871 I guess for 1703

 

overall, a very good update experience with this Creator Update *Thumbs

 

WU Downloaded and Installed, no problems






Except for DISM

 

i still have this problem

 

First thing I did after installing Microsoft latest cumulative Update KB4016871 was to run DISM command line in order to see if the problem with regard to error: 0x800f081f has been fixed. Still no joy. See screenshot below:





By the way, the update installed without a glitch on both of my PCs. I am sure that Microsoft is well aware of the problem because about a week or so ago, I went to their Feedback Hub and upvoted for the aforementioned error to be fixed. I also made sure to put my own note.
