    Cumulative Update KB4022715 Windows 10 v1607 Build 14393.1358

I have exactly the same problem, running Windows 10 build 1607. There seems to be no manual update option in Windows 10.

Edit: KB4022715 is the first of four updates, and this failure is consistently preventing the other three updates from downloading: KB4022730, KB890830, and KB3186568.

I found this post and tried the manual update from the Realtek site. My system has now updated correctly:

Windows Update Error - 0x800705b4 On Windows 10 TP - Build 9926 for - Microsoft Community

Thanks for that.....doesn't tell us much though, does it? I guess MS think that's all we "need to know" *Sad

A Google search for "Servicing Stack" is quite revealing.....

    UPDATE on Updates!

Having left the errant PC powered down all night, I tried again today, "Checked for Updates" and KB4022715 installed correctly as did the latest Windows Defender update.

Now at version 14393.1358 which is correct

Now when I Check for Updates, I'm informed that "Device is up to date"

It transpired that KB4023834 had actually installed correctly yesterday, it was only KB4022715 that failed 5 times yesterday and installed correctly today. I have no idea why this should be but hopefully Andy Kay, you will get the same outcome.

Mine hung up for a while at 81% as well, but it finally got past that and finished up. Slow, but it got there. Everything seems to be fine, no problems.

Thanks VBF. I edited my post when my laptop updated correctly after a manual download from the Realtek site, but it may have been coincidental.

Good grief, big update. Instead of doing this, why not just give us 1703? This is what I got this morning, appears to be working but is slow. Seems to be getting better with each restart.

  7. I agree, why is 1703 taking so long to roll out? I know some will point to manual installation methods but it should really of come down through windows update by now. It was released over two months ago! That being said we have two machines, one of which is running 1703 & there are some frustrating bugs in it. It feels like a step backwards from this build.

    Hello buddy,
why are you so pushy for 1703 build, it's not that good. I had it when it came out and I had to rolled back asap. It's maybe good for designers but not for gamers. My friend is using 1703 and he's mad, all games are laggy or keep crashing.
Btw. How to get VIP Member rank ? *Smile
    Thank you for reply *Smile

  10. Hi mate, I'm probably not deep down wanting creators because I agree it is buggy. We've got it in one machine and it's causing some frustrations. I guess what rankles is why is it not coming through windows update over two months later from release. I'm not an Apple fan but there is non of this drip feeding new updates. Everyone gets it on release day. At the moment I use my desktop totally unsure, is creators gonna hit me today, tomorrow, in a week??? I don't really get MS logic! As for the VIP, I don't know how that come to be - maybe once you've reached a certain number of posts perhaps. That's probably one the moderators can answer better

    cheers

That's because Apple has rigid control over the hardware it's going to run on - Microsoft has to make their OS capable of running on anything from OEM hardware to home-brews.

Yep, it's a conscientious effort to deploy to the correct systems - hats-off to MS for that ..

GWX was haphazard and resulted in a lot of turmoil.

I have an nvidia GeForce GTX 560. Since this update came out, it has crashed my card. Despite rolling back the update, disabling the card, uninstalling the device drivers, then renabling and reinstalling the card and drivers, Windows still throws back an error 43.

    Any advice?
