Windows 10: cumulative update KB5010342 is taking for ever to install on windows 10

Hello I have windows 10 that i dont turn on but once a week and then i check for any updates. It has downloaded it then on screen when it should install the say restart now. but its at 21% installedon wndows update page. I see on task manager windows installer is using up disk 1.5Mb'swhat can i do to get the update to finish installing then i can then restart windows 10.my lenovo ideapad z580 came with windows 8 then updated to 8.1 then got windows 10. but my 8 year old laptop can not insatll windows 11 it says. should i try to restart computer before it says to restart and what will happen i

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

This is the biggest update W10 ever had. Lol look at the file list.
This is pretty good for those who installed Windows 10 today. Just one update that has everything, no need to install previous updates.
