I just read on here that after 30 days when upgrading from 7 to 10 all the 7 files will be deleted, is that true? I created my 2nd drive just to upgrade so don't really care if 7 is deleted unless it creates problems.

How I actually got Win 10 to upgrade from 7 I'm not sure, it was a very frustrating process and then just happened. I'd been trying for a few months and know I pissed off some people on the Win 7 board, didn't realize they were just guys trying to help, thought they were MS employees. Sorry to those people! I got really frustrated with the whole upgrade process and update process with 7.

Is there a way to dual boot between 2 separate drives so I don't have to physically plug in one or the other drives? I have Win 7 on my main drive and 10 on another drive.

I loved XP, was a previous 98 and 95 user but loved the stability of XP. I hate smart phones because they are simply different and I get tired of trying to tweak things constantly. I just want a stable PC because that's what I have, a PC.

I mainly use my PC for internet browsing but use it for music a lot too. I haven't been able to get 10 to work very well with my Creative software yet and when I want to go back to you tube I switch back to my other 7 drive. I need the equalizer.

    :)

I was wondering if there is a way to Delete multiple emails in Win. 10 in AOL, gmail, Outlook & AT&T/Yahoo, as I used to do in Win. 7 & XP ?

Don't see one so far. Also is there a way to Delete or Save Spam so it isn't mixed in w/ good mail?

So far I like Win. 10 but just noticed these 2 items.

    Thank you,

    Joan Hicks

P.S. I am an 80 yr old who enjoys being able to use a PC, it fascinates me. Have used one since '03.

Curious about if there is a Spam Setting for my emails as I had in Win. 7. Is there?

No, Micorosoft won't delete your files after 30 days, but you will no longer be able to revert back to Windows 7 unless you do a clean install.
If you want to Dual boot, download EasyBCD and add Windows 10 to it's boot loader. If both drives are plugged in, when you restart, you will get a bootloader asking what OS you want to boot into.
AS for Creative, go to the Creative drivers site, Creative Worldwide Support
find your model # of your creative product and download the updated software for Windows 10.

You forgot the step of purchasing a second license for Windows. It violates the EULA (End Users License Agreement) to dual boot two installation of Windows installed on the same computer and it violates the forum rules here to encourage people to violate the EULA.

Why can't I use both until I get used to 10? That's the irritating part for me. Updates for 7 are so hard to get, it's a painstaking and a constant PITA and the only reason I'm trying 10. But I like 7 a lot but not as much as XP. In all honesty I hate the whole APP thing because half the time they don't work right on a PC.
