  1. 'current' technical data regarding using two different video cards with Windows 10 Pro 22H2

I have a working Win 10 Pro system that currently has a GTX 1660S Super that is running 3 monitors.1 x 2K Pixio monitor at 95 Hz on Display portand2 x 22.5" 1080p monitors one on DVI the other on HDMI both at 60 HzI have a Radeon HD7850 2Gb card laying around doing nothing and was curious if there was any way I could use it to run the two 60 Hz monitors.==========What I have been told:Adding a second graphics card in the current release of Windows 10, will only use the primary graphics card/driver and any monitors attached to the second card will simply be used as a means of connecting more

  2. Video capture cards not working Windows 11 Pro 22H2

I have a brand new EVGA XR1 Pro video capture card which will not show any video on either a Dell XPS 8940 desktop or an MSI GS78 laptop, both running Windows 11 Pro 22H2 on Intel i9 11th gen 16 core processors with 64GB and 32GB RAM respectively. Device manager shows the device is working properly on both machines. I have done extensive troubleshooting on both machines, am 100% sure of my cables and video source, have tried three older USB 2.0 video capture cards on both, and tried three different video capture programs. Everything is a black screen on both computers. The Windows Hello cameras on both show video just fine on everything. On the Dell desktop, the Elecom Windows Hello camera would not work for Windows Hello until this latest Windows 22H2 update, but it worked perfectly as soon as the update was installed. Both machines use an NVidia graphics card. I have tried disabling the Windows Hello camera on both and left the XR1 as the only installed camera, but that didn't help either. The Windows troubleshooter suggested a missing driver file with the name of stream.sys, but I cannot find this anywhere on either computer. The XR1 uses a generic Microsoft Windows driver 10.0.22621.4 dated 6/21/2006 and says there is no updated driver available. EVGA tech support has been of no help whatsoever. I did update the firmware to the current latest version.

I didn't install the XR1 until after I installed the 22H2 update, so I don't know if the problem existed before the update was installed.

    Can anyone help?

Dual video card laptops and Windows 10 upgrade

    Hello,

From the description I understand that system is not switching to the fasted video card which is Radeon 7600.

I suggest you to uninstall the current video card from device manager and install Radeon 7600 manually and check if this helps.

To uninstall from device manager follow these steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X key and click
      Device Manager.
    • Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
    • Right click on the video driver and click on
      uninstall
      .
    • Now install Radeon 7600 and check.

Write us back with the status of the issue to assist you further.

    Thank You.
