Windows 10: Cursor changes from pointer to a hand

    My cursor pointer changes to hand

    I use win 10 and IE and use the touchpad on my laptop. When I stop at any place at any website, the cursor pointer changes to a hand as if though I am expected or told to click open. I do not want a hand anywhere at any time. How do I fix this?

    I did go to the place where you suggested, and all it shows is the straight cursor and the arrow pointer. That box is already clicked.

    Sounds like if I want to have the arrow pointer, I have to use the mouse?

    Did you make any changes on your device or download anything that may effect the mouse cursor?

    You can try to change or modify your mouse cursor or pointer in the Ease of Access Center.
