Windows 10: Cursor disappeared, unable to reset PC

My cursor disappeared and I am unable to select anything except with the keyboard. Neither my bluetooth or wired usb mouse work. The touchpad and touchscreen do not work either.Cursor only works in recovery mode.When I tried to factory reset my PC, I get the message "There was a problem resetting your PC"I have an HP ENVY 360 running Windows 11.

DISAPPEARING CURSOR

• IM USING WINDOWS 10 AND MY CURSOR DISAPPEARED AND I CANT GET IT BACK EVEN WHEN I TURN IT OFF AND BACK ON OR RESET. ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

 

Problem with cursor disappearing

This problem can occur to you due to many reasons.

To make sure your cursor will not disappear next time, you can try the following ways.

1. Check the physical condition and USB port by plugging it into another PC or port.

2. Re-enable your mouse with shortcut. For Toshiba, press Fn + F5. For ASUS, it is Fn + F9. For other computers, you can search directly on Google.

Disappearing cursor

Searched MS support for advise on how to deal with disappearing cursor problem. Suggestions fell into two categories, 1) useless for my purposes or 2) so technical it was beyond my understanding. In any event, one suggestion on how to correct the problem
was a system reset, which I performed. Now there are entire folders and files that I have either lost or can't access.
