Windows 10: Cursor disappears and moves to taskbar

Disappearing cursorRecently, the cursor has started disappearing, and I have to move my mouse rapidly in order to bring it back. Upon further investigation, it seems that my cursor moves to the Taskbar when this happens, and when it does, visual feedback does appear on the Taskbar when I move it. I hope this will eventually get resolved, as it is interfering with what I do. Thank you.

Strange behavior from taskbar-cursor interaction?

Arezal, tried your suggestion. Seemed to work when in Firefox open screen, but as soon as I placed the cursor on the minimized Thunderbird icon, the taskbar disappeared and wouldn't reappear with cursor hover???

 

Moving the taskbar

You can customize your taskbar to pin your favorite apps to it, move it to where you want to display on your screen, and specify how taskbar buttons group together when you have more than one window open. To address your question, we suggest
that you follow these steps on how to move your taskbar to a different location on the screen:

• Open Settings and choose Personalization.
• Select Taskbar.
• Under Taskbar location on the screen, click the drop-down menu and select
  Bottom.

mouse cursor disappears on taskbar and on windows control buttons (maximize, close)

After installing Fall Creators update today, the mouse cursor disappears on certain elements.

• disappears on taskbar area (when in that area, also if taskbar is still hidden)
• disappears on maximized windows controlbuttons (maximize, close)

Reinstalling mousedriver and upgrade to newest Nvidia gpu-driver didnt fix it.

What is the solution?
