I'm using a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter to use three monitors at the same time, but when I plug the USB adapter the mouse does not appear in the monitor. It will interact with all, but it will not appear. When I plug only one extra monitor with the usb, the mouse appear normaly. Is there any solution to this problem? My laptop is a Predator Helios 300 with a i7-7700 and a GTX 1060 with Windows 10.

Odd issue with HDMI connection to monitor

I have a HP Spectre x360. This laptop doesn't have a HDMI port. Instead I use a USB-C to HDMI/VGA adapter. No issues until the recent 1903 Feature Update. After this update, my laptop will not recognise the monitor that is connected.

I have troubleshooted in the following ways:

- Connecting a Samsung Galaxy phone to the monitor via the same HDMI and USB-C adapter - Success, the adapter, cable and monitor must be working.

- Connecting my laptop to a different monitor using a VGA connection with the same adapter - Success, the laptop can at least handle a second monitor via VGA.

- Uninstalling and reinstalling laptop graphics drivers - no success. When connecting the monitor via USB-C to HDMI, in Settings>System>Display - the "Rearrange your displays" visual simply doesnt appear.

So it looks like my laptop is struggling with HDMI input - but via a HDMI to USB-C adapter, since there is no HDMI port.

Could not find a way to restore it back to before the update.

Any help appreciated.

 

Night Light not working on Monitor with USB to HDMI adapter

Hello,

I am using a Dell Micro 3070 with 3 monitors. One monitor is plugged into the HDMI port, the other 2 monitors use HDMI cables with an HDMI to USB adapter. The Night Light setting works on the monitor plugged directly into the HDMI port but not on the monitors using the adapters. Is this by design or is there a way to make the Night Light function work on all 3 monitors?

Connecting a Second Monitor to Laptop

Hello,

I am trying to work from home with multiple monitors. I have one monitor connected via HDMI cable. I have the second monitor connected via a USB to HDMI cable, but the screen is not being detected by my Laptop.

I have no other output ports on my laptop besides the one HDMI port and the usb ports. Is there any way to get my laptop to detect the monitor connected via USB to HDMI cable? Or do I need a USB to HDMI adapter?
