Windows 10: Cursor gone after downloding windows 11

I just updated to Windows 11 overnight. Today, the cursor is gone. I cannot type or open programs, nothing.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Thank you both for your prompt replies, I tried all steps listed, some I had tries previously but I still tried them again, but still no cursor.

Do you have any other suggestions?

You might be facing this issue because of an outdated or corrupted touchscreen driver. It could also occur if the display adapter is not updated to the latest version.

I suggest you to install/update the latest driver for Touchscreen and Display drivers and check if the issue still persists.

To update the drivers, follow the steps below.

• Type “Device Manager” in search box and press Enter.
• Right click on the drivers for Display and Touchscreen and select Update.
